Solar Aktivhaus
|
”Solar Aktivhaus” (Solar Active House) built near Klagenfurt in Austria was opened on 2 October 2009. The first sod was cut in September 2008.
The house is energy-neutral, and the technologies employed have made it possible to cover the building’s year-round energy requirements for heating, hot water and electricity exclusively by means of solar energy. The building offers a view of green slopes and mountains in a scenic setting. The house is constructed on a gradient and contains three split-level residential storeys. The house was built by SONNENKRAFT in association with among others VELUX, VELFAC and WindowMaster. Architect: Georg W. Reinberger.
